When my husband and I moved to central Nebraska, I began teaching 6th grade at Sargent Public School. Over the years, I assumed the Title I responsibilities, and then in my last couple of years there, I also taught the 7th and 8th grade Language Arts.
In 2013, my husband was offered a job at the Yuma District hospital as a Physical Therapist, and he loves his job there. That summer, our family moved into a home in Akron - and we all love it here! My first school year in Akron, I taught 4th grade Reading and Science, 7th Grade Creative Writing and Technology, an ESL class, and a Junior High Reading Intervention class. I am thrilled to be in to 1st grade!
My husband, Andy, is originally from Akron. We have two sons - Alex is a 4th grader, and Zach is a 2nd grader.
